This product has truly become my best friend. Since i began using it i have seen a huge improvement in my skin. Personally i have dry skin which gets the odd spot and having a primer which is also a moisturiser has banished those flakes ever since i began using it.
This product seems to have picked up mixed reviews, some say that it makes their skin peel when they try to apply foundation over the top, which was originally a problem for me. I found that to solve this problem, the product simply needed time to dry. I apply the primer to my face, after cleansing and moisturing, i then do my eye makeup whilst it dries (this only takes a couple of minutes), once dried i can easily apply my foundation.
I haven't noticed a huge increase in the lasting power of the primer, but i don't find my makeup slipping and sliding whilst i'm at the gym or through daily life.
I would definitely repurchase this product without a second thought. Its worth it!
If you are unsure about using a primer as it seems like an added cost, then there are some not so well known positives about wearing a primer. Not only does it make your foundation stay longer and create an even base, it also acts as a barrier between your skin and your makeup therefore less foundation is likely to sink into your pores. This makes cleaning your skin much easier as foundation hasn't managed to find itself in the deepest, darkest area of your pores therefore your skins condition should improve. There are also many individual benefits to primers for example, some decrease the apperance of pores, some decrease the oil produced by the skin whilst some hydrate and also for older women some have anti aging properties.
Its like another part of your skin care routine!
I would give this product 4.5 stars.
Thanks guys xx

organix ever straight keratin therapy flat iron spray
Hey guys,
This will definitely be a rave review! I have owned this product for at least 6 months and I LOVE IT! I straighten my hair every day and using this product makes it smooth and shiny and i can't detect any split ends.

The formula
Unlike some heat protestants this one doesn't leave your hair feeling sticky but instead is quickly absorbed by the hair. This product is full of smoothing ingredients for your hair, coconut oil, Keratin proteins, avocado oil, and cocoa butter.
It doesn't weigh the hair down so no worries your hair will still look shiny yet voluminous. There is quite a strong smell of coconut in this product which has got me heaps of compliments but don't worry if u hate the smell of coconut, like me, you'll get used to it and in no time you won't even be able to smell it. If you have frizzy hair then this may be what you need to tame those unruly tresses. The ingredients will help to smooth the cuticle, holding your hair straight all day. Before using this product my hair would feel dehydrated and had a tenancy to become frizzy, which i'm sure you'll agree isn't the most flattering look.
I must add that this product is specifically to straighten hair rather than curl, since the hair will become incredibly soft and will struggle to hold a curl. Despite this i would recommend this to anyone who has dry/ damaged hair from using straighteners or if you just want to have glossy, straight and healthy hair.
Thanks xx

How to get rid of dry skin
Hey guys,
Tackling dry skin is a huge problem for many people, like myself. Personally I have dry skin but still often get spots which is a nightmare when attempting to heal those flakes whilst avoiding the dreaded blemishes. After trying many creams and cleansers I have found what works best for me.
Night time is the best time to moisturise your skin to death as this is the time your skin takes to renew and heal. The cleanser that I am currently using is the B pure Micellar water which, as it claims, removes make up and dirt from your skin in a single sweep. Its magic, but I have only been using this product for a week and even though I'm currently loving it, I don't want to recommend until I have been using it for at least a month.
I prefer to cleanse my skin twice, the first to remove make up and the second to penetrate deeper to remove dirt that is clogging my pores. The second cleanser, which I can recommend is the Dove Beauty Cream Bar which is great for those with dry skin as it is 1/4 moisturizing cream.
Once I have finished cleansing my skin I then move onto moisturising. Every night I use the E45 cream treatment for dry skin conditions. This is a life saver! I have been using this product all through the winter and it significantly improved my dry patches.
Then to moisturize my skin further using clean fingers I press extra virgin olive oil into my skin. Extra virgin is always best as chemicals have not been added to it so it is much more natural therefore you get better benefits. I have previously made a blog post about the benefits so be sure to check that out (don't worry it will open in a new tab) http://beautyhelp97.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/hey-guys-good-news-olive-oil-is-great.html . Olive oil doesn't soak into the skin very quickly therefore I apply Vaseline to my skin as well. There are a lot of miss conceptions about Vaseline, as it is very thick some people believe it clogs pores but this isn't true. It will only clog pores if you apply too much. I pat a thin layer on top of the olive oil leaving me looking like a shiny monster, which is the reason I do this at night. I specifically use the Aloe Vera Vaseline as it is known for repairing the skin.
I only use the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the Vaseline every other night, for example Monday I will use it, Tuesday I won't, and repeat. If you have very severe dry skin you may want to do this every night but I suggest doing it a few hours before bed as laying down may rub off the oil and Vaseline.
In the morning I cleanse my skin again with the dove beauty cream bar to remove any dirt or residue that is on my skin. I then moisturise again with the E45 Cream treatment for dry skin conditions but remember to do this a little before applying make up and you may need to use a tissue to pat the excess off.
I exfoliate my skin weekly as everyday is too harsh unless you use a daily micro exfoliant. I use the N07 Beautiful skin radiance exfoliator for normal/dry skin. The beads in this are not to harsh and it leaves a lovely smooth canvas for me to apply my make up.
You can also use a face mask but at this point I have not found one which I am blown away by, but once I find the perfect mask I'll be sure to write a review for you.
I hoped this helped

Real Techniques Buffing brush review
Hey guys,
Lets talk about the real techniques buffing brush! Use the product in circular motions to buff in your foundation or cream blush or even powder bronzer, ITS MULTI PURPOSE. Since the foundation is buffed into the skin to look almost undetectable, the brush gives a very light coverage, though you can build it up easily. Even though the bristles are soft this is still a form of micro ex-foliation which means that the buffing action can ex foliate your skin which can cause flaky patches on the face. If you have oily or normal skin then I recommend this brush as it gives the most beautiful finish to the skin but if you have dry skin stay away.
But if you are wanting your foundation to be higher coverage then I suggest using the expert face brush by real techniques as very little foundation is required to get a flawless finish.

10 reasons why olive oil will be your new bestfriend
Hey guys,
Good news! Olive oil is a great product for your face, body and skin just make sure you use Extra Virgin as it isn't full of chemicals therefore is more natural.
first i want to talk about how it can clear up acne. This may surprise you since adding oil to an already oily face just sounds ridiculously stupid, but this has proven to work. Since i don't have acne, i could not prove to you myself how it works, but a young girl on you tube talks about how she applied it every night after cleansing and within 3 weeks her acne had completely healed. This is the link to her video which i really recommend checking out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMjlKFj_PQY.
1. Olive oil smooths skin and can even reduce the appearance of wrinkles over a period of time since it is incredibly hydrating.
2.It can even reduce irritation and inflammation which is really great if you have sensitive skin. I also know from my own experiences that it helps to reduce redness which is great!
3. Using this on your body as a moisturiser also works great but just remember that the olive oil doesn't soak into the skin very quickly so I recommend just using it on the parts of the body which are in desperate need of moisture. For me, the skin on my feet peels very easily therefore by rubbing in the olive oil and then putting on a pair of socks, I am left comfortable and in the morning my feet feel baby smooth.
4. It can also make skin feel tighter and firmer especially if used on your bottom! It can also prevent sagging too.
5. Within the oil are vitamin E and antioxidants. Vitamin E protects the skin from environmental pollution and is also good at helping to protect the skin from sun but remember it is still not classed as a sun screen. It also helps to heal wounds for example scars. Antioxidants are also great for the skin as they are anti inflammatory, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, firm the skin and repair sun damage.
6. Olive oil can also be used as a scar treatment as it reduces the appearance since it contains both Vitamin E and antioxidants which have both been proved to help scars blend in with normal, healthy skin SO YOU'LL BARLEY EVEN NOTICE THEM!
7. If you are pregnant or have stretch marks, this can be gently massaged into them to help reduce the appearance, just like with scars.
8. You can use olive oil on your hair too as a moisturiser! It can be used at either at room temperature or heated up ( if you want it to penetrate the hair deeper). I would suggest only using it near the ends of the hair as using it on the scalp can make your hair look like a oily mess which no one wants. You can combine the olive oil with other ingredients such as honey for even more benefits to the hair but make sure you wash it out with shampoo though if you are just using olive oil on the tips of the hair then you could use it as a leave in conditioner but only use a very small amount.
9. Use it as a make up remover. Just pour a little onto a make up remover pad and swipe across your face and you will see just how easily it all comes off. It also takes off even waterproof mascara. BONUS!
10. Use it on your finger nails to strengthen them and add shine.
Personally I use olive oil on a regular basis. I only use it at night because it could interfere with my make up and make my face look oily through out the day. At night I remove my make up with it then cleanse and moisturise my face. I researched and found that olive oil doesn't clog the pores because it cannot penetrate very deeply into the skin which means that it can't moisturise deeply either so I apply a night cream and then on top of that I apply a thin layer of olive oil. When I wake up in the morning there is no residue left and no new break outs.
For my hair, one a week I use it as a deep moisturising treatment. On dry hair from the mid to ends I apply a thick layer. I don't warm the oil up as I find it works just as well when at room temperature. After waiting around 20 minutes I wash it off with shampoo. You can leave it on for how ever long you like.
Thanx guys

Do you have the same problems as me?
Hey guys,
I thought as my first post I would explain to you my daily battles with skin, hair and body so that we can share tips together. Like most people I could probably go on and on about my flaws so I'd better begin.
Body
I am very lucky as I am naturally thin. This is mainly because I am young but do try and eat healthy. Ok, the last bit was a lie. Its a daily battle to eat fruit and veg rather than a scrumptious looking slice of cake that is teasing me in the cupboard and I'm sure we all share a similar problem here.
My skin is in a great condition partly because i am young but also because i TRY to take care of it. I have some great recommendations which ill share in a future post which will work for young and mature skin.
Exercise is yet another problem for me. I walk to and from school everyday and visit the gym once a week but even though i love sport i'm not currently part of any teams mainly because i seriously don't have enough time.
Hair
I could ramble on about my hair FOREVER but don't worry ill keep it to the point. I am a natural brunette though i did dye my hair slightly darker a while ago. I am thinking about going blonde but my hair is just screaming at me not to use bleach! I have medium /long hair which even though I LOVE my long hair I have a constant battle with the lack of volume. My hair also gets incredibly oily so I have to wash my hair every night which I know isn't great but it has to be done. I apply heat to my hair on a regular basis but thanks to my heat protection spray my hair still feels smooth and looks glossy!
Skin
I don't even know where to start. I have combination skin which is honestly a pain in the back side but normally my skin is my friend. A huge problem for me is that i have a lot of redness in my skin. I have never been to see a dermatologist but i can't remember a time where my skin wasn't red so i think that its just natural and not a skin problem. At least a positive is that i don't have to buy blusher. I have never seen a blogger with the same issue, so if you have picked up some tips and tricks then PLEASE TELL ME! If you do have a similar problem to me then I have a few tips and tricks to help and I am also trying out different creams to reduce the redness so I can review those for you.
Thanx guys
